Steering Control Module

Steering Control Module

Control ElectronicsEmbedded Firmware

Overview

Custom steering controller for an amphibious electric vehicle designed and manufactured by Engineering Design Lab.

Context

The Steering Control Module is a vehicle controller interfacing with electric linear actuators to control a steer-by-wire system.

Key Features

  • Microcontroller: STM32G4 (ARM Cortex-M)
  • Communication Protocols: CAN (2.0A), I2C
  • Circuits: switch-mode power supply, full-bridge motor drivers
